berkorban..

aku breakfast bersama seorang sahabat pagi ni...dia dah kerja hampir 15 tahun dalam company yang sama, "Aku tak ada cita-cita nak naik pangkat, aku tak kisah semua itu" itu katanya pada aku..aku diam aje bila dengan dia cakap macam tu.."aku tak mahu..nanti nak kena pergi meeting sana-sini' sambungnya lagi. Aku diam lagi, sambil berfikir..bukankah naik pangkat tu bagus..dapat lebih duit..untuk dia untuk keluarga dan mungkin untuk orang lain jugak.

Macam mana seorang bapa membuktikan kasih sayang pada anak-anaknya...perlukah berada di sisi anaknya setiap masa walaupun serba kekurangan atau menyediakan segala kemudahan untuk anak-anak tapi masa bersama mereka..terhad.

aku masih tengah dok berfikir ni...betulkah tindakan yang kawan aku buat ni? adakah dia pentingkan diri sendiri atau pentingkan keluarganya?

I dont work during holiday....

A salesperson decided not to answer or make any call during CNY break. One day before the long break arrive this salesperson got a phone call from one client ready to spend big money on advertisement…more than 30k. She can’t close the deal before the holiday because the client needs an approval from the big boss, on the way down from hongkong. The client did remind the salesperson to call on her on Thursday..the Chinese New Year day.

She decided not to call the client on the CNY day because she want to enjoy her holiday and don’t want to do any dealing during this holiday period. This client (Chinese gal) doesn’t mind doing business during CNY day. When nobody calls and another alternative came along, this client decided to go for it and close the deal with another person from another company…who don’t have problem working during holidays.

Monday..everybody was very surprise with the lost account. because everything was ready and in order..I already did the artwork for the client, although it was a last minute design but the client seems happy with the design. The other company make more than 40k from this client. Salesperson in charge of this account doesn’t say much because she knew it was her mistake the company lost the deal. Luckily the boss in very good mood and considering her young age and lack of experience so no ‘maki hamun’ for her.

I wonder why she did not make the call during her holiday. The call probably takes about 10 minutes from her 96 hours break. With all the technology..handphone..internet…email..still it takes a person to make something happen.

I’m a bit upset because I did everything I could for her..all the last minute work for nothing but I think she learn a lot from this experience. I always work during holiday because I need to put food on my table everyday.

aku sikit frust cuti raya cina ni..tak pergi mana-mana pun, ingat nak balik ipoh tengok emak abah tapi budget short sikit. Apabila adik ipar aku dan mak mertua cakap nak balik JB..maka aku pun stop buat apa-apa plan tunggu mereka sampai dulu baru susun plan semula.

sepupu nabilah kecoh nak pergi mandi waterfall..maka kami pun bergerak menuju ke air terjun gunung pulai...hujan baru lepas turun bila sampai kat waterfall tu..air keroh..sikit..tapi bolehle berkubang sekejap.

Pergi danga bay..main games sikit, tengok rabbit, jalan-jalan, makan-makan...itu aje.

BORINGNYA CUTI...SEBORING CERITA AKU NI!!!

Tapi bila di pikir-pikirkan balik..mungkin cuti kali ini menyeronokkan bagi anak-anak saudara aku..so maybe tidaklah seteruk mana..bukan semua kegembiraan itu milik kita, mungkin ianya perlu dikongsi bersama dan kali ini mungkin giliran anak-anak saudara aku bergembira dan bukan untuk aku..lain kali mungkin giliran aku pula!!
